Specialized Coaching in Mystery, Romance, & Speculative Fiction

Because you don’t have to figure it out yourself.

I spent a lot of my life teaching myself how to write the kinds of stories I love. It’s possible to do it on your own. It’s also a long, hard, lonely road. I’m an Author Accelerator certified book coach, and I’d love to help.

Find your why.

Why work with a book coach?

At its heart, book coaching is a structured partnership. Book coaches provide a mixture of objective insight, craft expertise, accountability, and support to help every writer reach their goals.

Pre through Post Writing

Book coaches can guide you through every step of the writing process, from idea to finished manuscript.

Support and Encouragement

Writing is, first and foremost, a mental battle—and book coaches give you the tools to win.

Goal Setting and Accountability

Research shows the performance benefits of setting goals and being held accountable for them.

Logistical Support

Book coaches help you break down large projects, identify problems in your writing process, and create action plans.

Writing Skills

Develop your craft through one-on-one instruction, targeted feedback, and and personalized support.

In coaching, fit is everything.

Please note that these items are only a starting point; if you’re interested in working with me, please reach out for a free discovery call. For me, a positive personal connection is the core of the coaching relationship, and it’s important to me that we both feel comfortable working together. Please be aware that I may not be able to effectively coach all content, so clear communication at the beginning of any sensitive topics is essential.
